Specifying that that enhancement is protected from toss is unneeded, for two reasons. For one, it is good enhancement, so it would protect itself. Two, if it is played outside of battle, it can't be tossed anyways, and if it is in battle and would be targeted by a toss, it's SA would never even activate.
But it is an interesting idea. There currently are no real counters to toss, as last I heard hand protection didn't help. I expect some cards like this will come around in future sets.
