Emperor Theodisius I
10/3 Gray WC
You may convert Emperor Theodisius I and a Roman Evil character to brigade of Holder's Choice to protect all lost souls from rescue this turn.
The reasoning behind him is the fact that he "Christianized" the Roman Empire. Although it is very ironic that he converts and protects from rescue. I just wanted to give emperors legitimate help.

Aren't there a little to many "protect all lost souls from play" cards?
...possibly, take out the "can't be negated" thing?
-
You'll need to specify a brigade (or other way of determining brigade)

Red, perhaps?

I'd agree, given he's WC.

Unlike someone like Uzzah, you're not hurting yourself all that much. Everyone would use this guy and he'd be the perfect blocker especially if you played red... like me.

I also think it should probably be a "you may" ability rather than mandatory. Just my :2cents:.

You have to play Romans. It'd also be a creative way to convert Saul/Paul.
I like it, but I'd drop the CBN part. It's a CBI ability anyway...

fixed. Any other suggestions?

If this were a real card i would definately have it neutered.
Maybe limit one per deck?
-
There needs to be a limit (such as "this battle" or "this turn") on the rescue protection.

May I ask why? You would only be able to have one in a territory anyways. And you hurting your own D when you use him.
Good catch browarod. I fix.

You have 5 in a T2, you just got 5 more autoblocks, and pulled 5 sick characters as heroes.

Get rid of the parentheses (not the ability, just the actual parentheses), and drop his defense to 1.

He reigned for three years, so shouldn't his defense be 3?

I guess I agree. I coming from the perspective of a Roman defense deck and he seems like the perfect EC, a little too perfect. (I also use Saul\Paul)
-
Gray doesn't need another auto blocker :P
-
I like it, but I think it's OP. too many ways to abuse him, especially for T2

Ah thanks I honestly couldn't find how long he reined.

I looked it up on wikipedia, so it might not be accurate, but that's how long it said he ruled over the entire Roman empire. He ruled for 20 some years (I think...) over the eastern empire...
