Hebrews 8:5 explains that the earthly Tabernacle (of Moses and David) and the various Temples (Solomon's/Zerubbabel's/Herod's) were a representation of the Heavenly "Tabernacle/Temple" (called the "temple of the tabernacle of the testimony" in Revelation 15:5), which is described in detail in various passages in the Bible - notably Isaiah 6, Daniel 7, Ezekiel 1, Ezekiel 10, and Revelation 4.
I think it that just like The Tabernacle and Temples we have in Redemption, it would be really cool to have a Heavenly Tabernacle/Temple, complete with Heavenly Artifacts! Such as:
- the sea of glass-like crystal
- the altar of incense
- the river of fire (Daniel 7)
- the 7 burning torches before the throne
- the emerald rainbow
- wheel within a wheel
- smoke of God's glory
- thunder, lightning, voices
- the ark of the covenant (Revelation 11:19, Revelation 15:5)
Then the beings that are before the throne could be the equivalent of "tabernacle/temple" priests. These would include:
- the 24 elders
- the 4 living creatures
- the seraphim
- the cherubim
- the saints (all believers of all history) from Revelation 15
and probably others that I'm missing! (you could include the various angels of the judgement series in Revelation as well - the angels who held the 7 trumpets and the angels who held the 7 bowls of wrath)
Just thinking that it could be really cool for this to become a new theme of its own!
