Since everyone is making an anti-set aside card, I'll jump in the band wagon:

Distractions

T/C

Return all character in all set aside areas to owner's territory.  All benifits of set aside enhancements are removed.  Characters that are returned can not be set aside while they remain in play.

Yeah, fail. Idk why everyone is hating on Job and Fishing Boat.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

haha, no kidding. even though it would nail job and some other strategies, i don't think it's too OP. Brigade?

eh, whenever a new strategy comes out, another comes out to hurt it and keep it in check

Job doesn't need to be hurt and kept in check. He's not OP.

As far as Disciples, Fishing Boat is fine. It's the Heroes that need to be hurt and checked.

Not only that, but it would hurt disiples more than a standard discard (since you would have to get them out of play another way to reset them).  It would also hurt speed set aside more than DD since they can't quickly DON it.

Also, it would be a dual-brigade EE (to stop any T2 abuse).  I was thinking of crimson/orange but maybe brown/black to help the two main site-lock colors.

eh, not black. i don't think it would fit the character themes. maybe orange, but it's easy to make anything evil orange (demon related). maybe brown/pale green/crimson (just 2 of those)

I would have it crimson/brown.  Also, black isn't hard to see for this enhancement;

OT: could you really focus when you have a bunch of giants trying to kill you?

NT: the biggest problem Jesus had with the sadduccees was the fact that they added so many laws that it distracted from the real purpose of have a relationship with God.

i suppose maybe, but those are not what i think of when i think distractions though....

i think money, idols, and other material objects.

if giants were attacking me, i'd probably be the most focused i'd ever been to tell ya the truth :P

also- i thought His biggest problem with the sadducees was their hypocrisy and self-glorification

The way the Sadds made themselves self rightous was by making up all the rules they did and then looking down on people who couldn't keep them like they could.

Also, I see set-aside like this:

Heroes are in the territory always looking out for a lost soul that needs to be saved and which people will try to stop them.  Set aside is when they stop doing that, go into a private room, and focus on their relationship with God/training/find peace.  That way, when they come back, they are stronger (IRL, it would be the equivilance of a quiet time).  However, when you are armed up and focusing on your enemy/goal, then you can become so distracted by it that you would forget to have your quiet time (thus, distractions prevents the characters from being set aside while they remain in play).

i like how you see set-aside, although i don't think it can quite be generalized that way.

the comment on Sadds.... well, i really don't see where you are going with that.

in the case of sadds- i just think there are much better fit categories than "distractions" for them. and distractions applies more to others.
giants- an army of giants coming at you is scary and delivers a rush. maybe if you are studying in the temple, and 30 giants appear out of nowaway and invent football right in front of you and hit you in the head with a football, then i would say distraction :P

you could make the argument that the Sadds themselves were distracted, but that wouldn't really make sense as far as basing this enhancement off it.

NOTE- while typing this i realized this would make a much better artifact than enhancement since it applies to everyone (good and evil), and could mean material distractions (or not)
