This theme really hasn't picked up yet. Let's try to get it going...
Nicanor
5/6 Purple Hero
"If you have fewer cards in deck than your opponent, you may draw two cards."
Deacon
Prochorus
5/6 Purple Hero
"Good NT Enhancements cannot be negated."
Deacon
Stephen
7/7 Purple Hero
"You may search your draw pile for a deacon and put it in play. May band to a deacon. Cannot be interrupted."
Deacon

I think blue makes more sense because Philip, Nicolas, and Timon are there already. Other than that I think you could be alot more creative with the special abilities.
-
I wasn't that creative because honestly I don't know that much about the deacons (especially since they all have the same Bible verse except for Stephen), so I gave them general abilities, pretty much staying with the loose theme that they already have. I made them purple because that's the only brigade with an enhancement made to be used by deacons. Also, they are able to be used alongside the current blue deacons, and I've always wanted a dual-brigade theme. Apparently Cactus doesn't, but I can dream...

I've always wanted a dual-brigade theme.
Putting a specific theme into two brigades is counter productive though. The whole point of a theme is to make it work well within itself. Having something be in more than one brigade inherently makes it harder to use.

Don't let that discourage you from coming up with fun ideas. I think that because they have such a simple verse that a lot of "liberties can be taken" so to speak with how creative the special abilities can be. Its not like Adam who has a really obvious banding ability.
How about this:
Prochorus
5/6 Blue Hero
"If two or more players have the same number of redeemed souls, you may search opponent's deck for a Lost Soul and place it on top of their deck."
Stephen
7/7 Blue Hero
"If Stephen is discarded by a Pharisee or Sadducee, you may place him into your Land of Redemption as a redeemed soul."
I think the only thing I'd change about Nicanor is his brigade since he's already got a decent special ability.

Deacons are based on two play styles right now Drawing cards and Converting. I have a whole huge list of Deacon Ideas I may post some time but if any of the Deacons are remade Which they will be they will be based around these themes.

Maybe, but I don't really think so. Pharisees and Sadducees don't have a lot of discard battle winners and you aren't required to block with either of those two kinds of Evil Characters either.
Deacons are based on two play styles right now Drawing cards and Converting.
That's true. Instead, how about these:
Prochorus
"You may convert a human Evil Character to a green brigade Hero if your opponent draws a card during battle."
Stephen
"You may draw two cards if Stephen is discarded by an opponent. Conversion Enhancements used by Stephen cannot be interrupted by evil cards."
Full of the Spirit
Good Enhancement
"Good conversion Enhancements used by a Deacon cannot be negated."
Acts 6:3
Full of Wisdom
Good Enhancement
"If you have a Deacon in play, you may look at the top six cards of your deck and place them back in any order. Draw a card."
Acts 6:3

Btw Deacons are a tricolor theme and disciples are quadcolor (though Disciples are more dual color :P) but these multi color themes are real.
-
Deacons dealt with the distribution of welfare, mostly. That's why so many of them draw. I'm making a Deacon/Martyr idea thread right now.
-
For Stephen, I would add something that would incude revealing your SOG (after all, Acts 7:56 was the last straw for the Jewish leaders).
-
Well everyone hated my ideas and made their own, so I'm not going to take the time to edit mine. :D
-
I give you 100% credit for inspiring me.
-
As in, my ideas were so bad you just had to make your own? ;)
-
Yeah, pretty much ;)
