So if I have this right, Shemaiah becomes an autoblock? Withdraw all but one, then capture the one left in battle and remove Shemaiah from the game? In my opinion, though, the cost-benefit is mixed up. I think it should be "remove this card from the game to capture one of them regardless of protection". I'm not sure if this will actually make a huge difference, but I think removing him from the game sounds more like the cost than the benefit.
The same thing goes for Herodias, although I'm not sure I quite understand that ability. It sounds like you have to discard one of your male heroes from your territory if you return a captured Hero from your Land of Bondage. Or is it supposed to read "in opponent's territory?" Or I suppose it could be "Return a captured Hero to territory to discard a Male Hero from that territory."
As for False Wisdom, one major problem that I see is that it would restrict players from looking at their own hands, which I don't think is intended. Maybe change it to "Protect cards in hands from Look abilities." or something like that.
