Cool idea! The first one i thought of was Guardian Angel (Di) - "Protect selected human Hero from special abilities on opponent's cards."

But I'm sure there are others much stronger...

I thought that as well, but he’s actually not so great because he cbi protects all your opponent’s stuff as well, so both you and your opponent have perpetually invincible good and neutral cards.

Speaking of R&D, with all of the weapons coming out in LoC, the elders really are trying to make R&D a thing. 😎

The Elders have been trying to make Rubble and Dust a thing for as long as it has been a card. Not that I'm complaining, mind. I may be trying to run it.

Here's a couple more fun ones:

Michal (CoW) - Grabs some guys from the deck an then lets you activate someone new. Because of the way entering and exiting a fortress works, you can do this every turn. There are also a few others who can do this too, but she's one of the best imo.

Necromancer (PoC) - Did your main territory guy get discarded? just copy it's ability! I like this because you can copy a character who's normally territory class and actually still use their ability.

Simon the Magician (TEC) - Protecting souls and making all NT evil cards CBN? 

Benjamin (FoOF) - All Genesis enh are cbn. Nuff said.

Faithful Leaders - He really should have been territory class from the beginning imo.

Timothy (TEC) - He does a lot, and although none of his 3 abilities are super powerful, all of them together make him a pretty nice use for this fortress.

Isaiah (FoOF) - you no longer need to band him in to CBN protect your purple heroes, and all other good Isaiah cards played are cbn! 

Hosea (PoC) - This is the alternative to solomon's temple for people who just really want to run kings of Israel over kings of judah, but still want them to be nearly invincible.

Hannah (PoC) - This one is kind of unexpected, but probably one of the strongest. Her negate only targets your OPPONENT'S evil and neutral cards.
