Peter's Faith

People have made Peter reprints, but this is an idea to make him useful without reprinting Peter himself.

The identifier is a thought I had at the last minute, dunno if it works.

I thought abilities on Place cards (if they are of the same brigade) are added to that Character while the Place is on him.

I do like the idea though, makes him more useful!
They seem pretty lame as fighters maybe we should challenge them to a dance off or a redemption game

Not that I'm aware of.

I thought that could be, but I'm not positive.

I like the concept. In the identifiers, you could just say "Peter gains 2/2 while this card remains."

I think the wording would be "Place on Peter: Holder gains 2/2..."
Because the 'while this card remains' isn't needed anymore because that's already defined as apart of the effect, and stays as long as the card does.

Yeah no. Holder is old wording for the player controlling the card, it's never referred to a character. You might be thinking of Bearer, but that's only in the case of weapons, I believe.

With the idea for the identifier, wouldn't they ability activate twice?  Once when played and then when in battle?  That would cause Peter to Search for Peter once Peter was out.

I would take an enhancement like this over a Peter reprint.

"Abilities" refers to the numbers (*/*) of a card. "Special abilities" is the effect that it has.

I'm glad you like it. :)

I would probably choose different art. As much as I like the art you used, it's showcasing a story where Peter only showed faith briefly before sinking. I love the concept though. :)

Well, isn't that kind of what Redemption cards are? Snapshots at specific points in Biblical history? I mean, Peter's Curse involves when Peter denied Christ even though Pete was a great follower most of the rest of the time.

I remember that being used for a Character before... I don't think bearer is correct though. I may be wrong, but I thought it was. You could also do "Peter gains 2/2"

No, Territory Class cards don't reactivate in Battle. They really never deactivate unless otherwise noted, (i.e. Isaiah's Call works only in Battle when on Isaiah) but they don't 'turn off' after being placed. Wheel protects no matter where it is as long as it is still on an OT Angel. It's just that most of the effects aren't useful except in Battle.

I like it a lot! Can't help you with the identifier though, as I don't know how that would function...
If you were to go on a trip... where would you like to go?

Glad you like it. :)

Yeah, the identifier thing was a last minute addition because I forgot to take off the 2/2 after I made it TC (and revamped the special ability).

Does this make Peter a ninja since he can walk (run, jump, somersault, barrel roll) on water?

Yes, yes it does. :P

I should add this to the special ability: "Peter gains the identifier 'Ninja'."

Realistically though, what doesn't get more awesome when you add ninjas?

Answer: Other ninjas.

100% true. See: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
