Something I doubt anyone has thought of. Even if Cactus were to redesign Redemption cards, they would have to have the white border around the edge of the card. Why? Take it from a magician like me: You want that white border for gameplay. With an unsleeved deck, you can see the color of the card coming next. If neither the front or the back have a white border, you can have cards face-up in the deck and never know it until they come up to the top of the deck.
One of the reasons magicians always use decks with a white border on the back is that when a card is turned face-up in the deck, it won't show. If the cards have an all-over back design, the face-up card is obviously face-up in the middle of the deck (try it sometime).
