Title: Big maybe
Post by: jbeers285 on May 20, 2012, 01:59:05 PM
What if there was a neutral card perhaps an artifact that had the ability to once per game remove identifiers from all characters in the game for one turn

This would remove things like nationality, gender, magician, demon, beast, fought earthly battle, disciple, musician ect. . .

I believe this would greatly aid defenses but limiting it to once per game would be necessary

perhaps if it's an art it would say up activation dc this card to remove identifiers from the game for one turn.

Just a thought

One problem with this is that it would lead to many undefined Xs.

Right but X cards would be pointless to play that's part of the reason for the card

"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus." Galatians 3:28

The perfect verse for a card like this.

Remove from the game instead. I don't think there is a card that can bring back any artifact, but just in case.

Yeah i had thought of that verse and the tower of babel. . . I also thought perhaps calling it torn veil bc when the veil was torn salvation became for everyone and that would go with the above mentioned verse

What about identifiers that indicated unique or generic?  Would that mean that I would be able to have all three David's in play?

"Remove this card from the game. For one round, all cards lose all identifiers that do not define X except Unique and Generic."
