Title: Babylon Capitol
Post by: Deck Metrics on May 19, 2010, 01:53:03 PM
Evil Fortress, UR/P

All Babylonians & Chaldeans get + 1/+1. (Babylon is called "the land of the Chaldeans: Jer 24:5; Eze 12:13)
Arameans, Babylonians, Palestinians & Syrians may band. (Babylon controlled these areas at one point in history)
At the beginning of your upkeep, put a marker/counter on Babylon Capitol. Then you may:
Remove two markers/counters to draw a card.
Remove three markers/counters to capture a hero in a terrirory. (586 BC Jerusalem fell)

ISA 43:14 or EZE 17:4

this maybe a little overpowered, but counters can easily be made for example Assyrians attacked & plundered Babylon in 1250 BC and then were defeated in about 1100 BC. In 689 BC Assyria under the rule of Sennacherib totally destroyed Babylon, but it was rebuilt by Esarhaddon between 680-669 BC. Babylon was also conquered by the Persians.

You can even add another SP depending on if King Nebuchadnezzar ,who was Babylon's greatest king, is in play.

Arameans, Babylonians, Palestinians & Syrians may band.
Okay, so...this allows for superduperbands...was that intentional, or did you just mean that one at a time can band with each other?

Remove 3 markers, capture a hero and discard fortress or limit it to 2 uses :P

Babylon Capitol
Evil Fortress
"Babylonians and Chaldeans gain 1/1. One Babylonian may band with one Aramean, Palestinian, or Syrian each turn. Each upkeep phase, put a counter on Babylon Capitol, and then you may remove a counter to draw a card or remove three counters to discard a site or good fortress."

How about that?

if you use the Shobach band, that's draw six and play 3 cnbn caps if you use it right.

If you're able to set it up, you deserve it. ;)

This is all good feedback. Doesn't hurt my feelings.

It is too powerful.

Maybe, this might help

Each upkeep phase, holder may put a counter on Babylon Capitol or to remove 5 counter to discard an Assyrian or any good fortress in play. Holder's Babylonians and Chaldean gains 1/1 for each counter on Babylon Capitol.

I thought the reason for discarding Assyrian is because that is how Wing lion is plan out, also it would be too powerful to just add a counter and do the effect, so I thought the holder can choose to do either one of the option, and to discard a fortress, I think it should wait for little bit longer, or else, it would make Babylonians and Chaldean way too strong. Thank you.

I support it as well, so my Abomination Desolation would work well. Thank you.

and thus my Ishmael card is both Egyptian and Babylonian

I second that.

It make the game much more amazing. It not like other games we see is all make up ability. We have the greatest source to create different cards according to their verse. That is why I love this game so much, because each card represent a unique story.
