Title: Babylon (revised)
Post by: stefferweffer on October 10, 2010, 08:59:45 PM
White Site

If this site contains a captured character, negate the special abilities of all non-Babylonian sites.

"And it shall be, that the nation and kingdom which will not serve Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and which will not put its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation I will punish,' says the Lord, 'with the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand."  Jer.27:8

I like it it's a good counter to the new sites.

It also promotes their theme and is also ezay to counter (with site killers/stealers/and a plethora of anti-capture cards.  The only thing I would change the site color back to red.

I would make it negate special abilities on non-Bab sites. That way it will still work with BBH.

+1

It should definitely be red, like the original

I would make it negate special abilities on non-Bab sites. That way it will still work with BBH.

this is a must, would make sense if you negated BBH, haha

I glady changed the ability to non-Babylonian sites, but HESITANTLY changed the color back to Red (for now).  I thought that Redemption tried to match the sites to the heroes that were there - Only Angels entering Garden of Eden and Sodom, Prophets entering Ninevah and Bab Banquet Hall, John (purple) on the island of Patmos, Egyptian sites being gold because of Moses, Priests having access to Jericho, etc.  When in the world was a red hero in Babylon?  Since all the Daniel heroes are white, it seems that Babylon should definitely be white, but that is just my opinion.

Thanks for the help.

Should be White. I think it's balanced.

With Pol's blessing I have changed this back to white for the reasons I listed.  Thanks for understanding my reasoning.

I like it white because white will see less play now that TGT will be ripped apart by Golgotha. But daniel and muscians might see more play.

Well, this would hurt the Golgotha, and might even be a new staple in a TGT deck. I am not sure though!

I rather like it. Interesting, useful, and ccccombo-rific.

Hardly. CBIg is not retroactive, so TGT is still entirely viable. Especially considering the TGT strategies that don't rely on Ignore.
