Plus, Revelation cards are really the only ones that style of fantasy art could be applied to.

Also, Death and Hades' art is from Darksiders 2. :P

I agree with this!
May I ask which art in particular you are referring to? I'm curious. The only art that I think may be overboard are the 2 prince demons.

Both princes (as you guessed)
Wrath of Satan
Ancient Evil
Necromancer
Fallen Angel is a bit creepy
Abaddon (though not as much as some of the others above)
