Artifact. Ability: Protect opponent's evil characters from discard abilities on evil cards.
-
I want this made, just cuz I want someone to activate it then realize I can infinatly use zimri. Maybe make it 'All'?
-
How could zimri be used forever? He is a d/c ability.
-
and a evil card...
-
Perhaps...
"Prevent all abilities on opponents evil cards that discard their own evil characters."
That would stop the infinate Zimri abuse as well.
Though... it would still allow them to play it on YOUR EC if they banded it in.

Protects MY ecs from d/c. Which means I can d/c the fob infinate times with zimri and he will never die. I'd joes silver cup this
-
Yeah, your version protects the EC's, but not the heroes, you see? So Emp. Otho could all be used time and time again. Although King Zimri could still only be used once, due to the second part of his SA:
King Zimri
Type: Evil Char. • Brigade: Crimson • Ability: 4 / 3 • Class: Warrior • Special Ability: Discard King Elah. Holder may discard a crimson enhancement from hand to discard all cards in battle. Discard King Zimri after one block. • Play As: Discard one King Elah in play. Holder may discard a crimson enhancement from hand to discard all cards in battle. Discard King Zimri after one block.
:dunno: But if it weren't for that, you could use him endlessly also.
-
Why wouldn't the artifact protect Zimri from the final sentence of his ability as well?
-
ah, I see the wording mistake. Are there any problems with the version Lambo suggested?
-
The issue is it is too limited imo. It won't be used very much.
-
Oooh. Another idea:
"If opponent discards or removes their own evil character from battle, you may discard an additional evil character in their territory regardless of protection."
-
As I said as I gave the suggestions for Regardless and removes ;) Pure wyn.
-
How about this:
Green Covenant. Ability: 3/4. Special Ability: If opponent's evil character is about to be discarded in battle, negate all protect and shuffle abilities on evil characters and enhancements. May be used twice.
-
wouldn't work because by the time the EC is d/c ed, the abilities are gone and discarded. I think.
-
Edited. ;D
-
there ya go. :)
I like this. It doesn't stop Zimri, but thats fine with me. He is negatable.
-
"Protect all characters from all discard abilities on evil cards", perhaps?
-
NOOOOO.
That stops ALL evil discards. WAY too powerful.
-
How about this:
Green Covenant. Ability: 3/4. Special Ability: If opponent's evil character is about to be discarded in battle, negate all protect and shuffle abilities on evil characters and enhancements. May be used twice.
Again way too limited. you stop uzzah, Dou, FO, and BB. Not much to go on.
"Protect all characters from all discard abilities on evil cards", perhaps?
"first person to make a rescue after this card is played wins the game"
There now it is truly double broken mint

I disagree on that point. Just a Hireling, Uzzah, Belshazzar's Banquet, Death of Unrighteous, etc. All of these suicide cards are becoming not only more annoying, but also more prevalent as we have seen from the latest expansions. This card might be too limited, but it should at least be out there in circulation to head off the occasional suicide defense.
For every action in Redemption, there should be an equal and opposite reaction!
The problem with suicide is that it is hard to stop. In these cases, the little Uzzahs and Pharisees are jumping off of the bridge, no matter what. Therefore, it is in the best interest of the agressive offense to make sure that there are plenty of sharp rocks at the bottom instead of water.
-
Thats the benefit of my card.
They can STILL stop you if they wish. However, I get to kill their PotW, or KoT, or Ant IV as well.
