I'm reading through Revelations again and thought of some good upgrades/new cards from the book:

Locust From The Pit
6/6 (orange)
May band to all Locus From The Pits
Revelations 9:3

Abaddon/Apollyon
9/10 (Orange)
May band to all Locus From The Pit.  Once per game, if Abaddon is banded to two or more Locuses, you may set all human evil characters aside for five turns.
Revelations 9:11

The First Horseman
8/8 (orange)
May band to all horsemen.  Once Per Game, you may discard X amount of card from hand to discard all humans in the field of battle (X=number of heroes in battle)
Revelations 6:1-2

The Second Horseman
8/8 (orange)
May band to all horsemen. Once per game, you may cause two heroes to fight or two evil characters to fight each other.  Loser is discarded.
Revelations 6:3-4

The Third Horseman
8/8 (orange)
May band to all horsemen. Negate all enhancements that deals with food or drinks.  Once Per game, you may cause all humans to decrease 0/1 for the remainder of the game.
Revelations 6:5-6

The Forth Horseman
8/8 (orange)
May band to all horsemen.  Once per game, you may discard 1/4 of all humans in play (round down).
Revelations 6:7-8

The numbers of the horseman can be whatever fits them.

God Bless.

Nice cards :) Too many CBN abilities, in my opinion, though. also, maybe the Horseman's abilities should be determined by the verse they're found in? like 9/1, 9/3, 9/5, 9/7? Abaddon as well (9/11).

also, Locusts is spelled with a T :)

Opps :P.

The reason I made them CBN is because they can only use their ability once per game.  If they could use it every time they enter battle, then I would take away the CBN part.

As for the verses, the horsemen are in chapter six (so adding the verses up would be 6/3, 6/9, 6/11, 6/15 (or to mix up the numbers 7/2, 9/6, 9/8, 11/10).  With Abaddon, I just kept his stats from his original card (like most remakes do).

There is way too much CBN banding going on.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

+1

Also, I think the Third and Fourth Horsemen are a little OP. The third could say "...for remainder of turn" perhaps. The First Horseman is already able to win a battle without an enhancement, but allowing the Fourth to do so as well is too much, especially since the ability has no cost.

I was thinking of making them black (since Abaddon and Locusts are black) but since most demons seems to be orange now, I made them orange.

The first horseman should not be an evil character. If you look at Rev 19 the same phrase is used to introduce Jesus riding on the white horse. This leads me to believe that Jesus is the first horseman.

So Jesus quickly breaks the first seal, runs to His horse, does his stuff, then comes back, jumps off His horse, and breaks the next seals?

Also:

Revelations 6:1-2
Quote
1 As I watched, the Lamb broke the first of the seven seals on the scroll.[a] Then I heard one of the four living beings say with a voice like thunder, “Come!” 2 I looked up and saw a white horse standing there. Its rider carried a bow, and a crown was placed on his head. He rode out to win many battles and gain the victory.

Revelations 19:11-16, 21
Quote
11 Then I saw heaven opened, and a white horse was standing there. Its rider was named Faithful and True, for he judges fairly and wages a righteous war. 12 His eyes were like flames of fire, and on his head were many crowns. A name was written on him that no one understood except himself. 13 He wore a robe dipped in blood, and his title was the Word of God. 14 The armies of heaven, dressed in the finest of pure white linen, followed him on white horses. 15 From his mouth came a sharp sword to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod. He will release the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty, like juice flowing from a winepress. 16 On his robe at his thigh[e] was written this title: King of all kings and Lord of all lords.

21 Their entire army was killed by the sharp sword that came from the mouth of the one riding the white horse. And the vultures all gorged themselves on the dead bodies.

I bolded the differences between the two descriptions.  As per the followers of the White Rider (not Gandolf), they too rode on white horses.

Lastly, we could actually debate if most of the horsemen are demons or angels.  I just made them demons just cause.

uhm.. wouldnt the 4th horseman be the anti christ?

The beast of the sea is actually the anti-christ:

Revelation 13
The Beast out of the Sea
1 Then I saw a beast rising up out of the sea. It had seven heads and ten horns, with ten crowns on its horns. And written on each head were names that blasphemed God. 2 This beast looked like a leopard, but it had the feet of a bear and the mouth of a lion! And the dragon gave the beast his own power and throne and great authority.
3 I saw that one of the heads of the beast seemed wounded beyond recovery—but the fatal wound was healed! The whole world marveled at this miracle and gave allegiance to the beast. 4 They worshiped the dragon for giving the beast such power, and they also worshiped the beast. “Who is as great as the beast?” they exclaimed. “Who is able to fight against him?”

5 Then the beast was allowed to speak great blasphemies against God. And he was given authority to do whatever he wanted for forty-two months. 6 And he spoke terrible words of blasphemy against God, slandering his name and his dwelling—that is, those who dwell in heaven.[a] 7 And the beast was allowed to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And he was given authority to rule over every tribe and people and language and nation. 8 And all the people who belong to this world worshiped the beast. They are the ones whose names were not written in the Book of Life before the world was made—the Book that belongs to the Lamb who was slaughtered.

9 Anyone with ears to hear
      should listen and understand.
10 Anyone who is destined for prison
      will be taken to prison.
Anyone destined to die by the sword
      will die by the sword.

This means that God’s holy people must endure persecution patiently and remain faithful.

The hard one, for me, is to come up with a card that does justic to The Two Witnesses.

I was refering to the same the Greek text not the english.  The riders are introduced with the exact same pharse in Greek.

Were going to have to agree to disagree because my theological understanding of the Revelation is different from yours and probably most peoples on this board.

I am just trying to say that we cannot assume that these horseman are all demon.  In my opinion this was imagry used by John not litteral people or angels or demons or whatever that rode on horses.

So in that case Jesus would not have to run and jump on a horse after breaking the seal, it imagry.

But like I said we have to agree to disagree.

That's fine.  No one truly knows all there is to know about Revelations.  We all just have our theories.

Also note:

Quote
I just made them demons just cause.

I truly don't believe they are all demons but I just thought it would fit better game wise to make them demons.  Tiss all

Sounds good to me.

Another idea for the horsmen would be to have there bridage color be the color of the horse, so we would get black, crimson and pale green. Or they could have orange and that color.

Hard part would be what would the first horse be?  It's white but there's no white evil brigade.

Typically, symbolic figures in prophecy are treated as Demons in Redemption. Orange is the way to go.

The book is called "Revelation", not "Revelations".

I nearly got in trouble with my professor for the latter earlier today.

It is actually called "Revelations" in some bibles. Besides, it doesnt really matter. Psalm, Psalms. Song of Songs, Song of Solomon, Solomon. In the grand scheme of things, that is the least important. (That little rogue "s").

The actual name of the book is (transliterated) Apokálypsis Iōánnou which is singular.

So I'm right.
