Cool card, but I'd make the brigade Blue (or a new brigade if "the rest of the NT other than Revelation" gets its own Brigade). Why 7/12? Also, being able to play Baptism of Jesus over and over again pre-battle is a bit much.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

they are unique because they were the only John's Disciples. there wouldn't be two John's Disciples in play at one time because those were his only group of disciples.
i like the card a lot and it would definitely help N.T. prophets. although like Pol mentioned being able to use BoJ over and over again is a little OP'd but i guess that's what would make the card good

Super combo in T2 if John's Disciples are generic:  John the Baptist in discard pile, Hidden Treasures up, attack with John's Disciples, play Faith in our High Priest from discard pile, play Unity in Christ with Hidden Treasures, bring in the other 4 John's Disciples, play 4 CBN enhancements preblock.

A green prophet that lets you play an enhancement (much less from discard pile) just seems OP when matched with Hidden Treasures.  You could spam Faith in our High Priest or Spiritual Warfare, or like Pol mentioned, Baptism of Jesus.

Well, as long as you have Faith in our High Priest and 4 other green NT enhancements in discard pile.
If creation sings Your praises so will I

7/12 because the story says there were 12 of them total. I suppose it could be changed so that the combined strength and toughness was 12. (5/7, 6/6, etc)

Why are they unique? I would think they are generic. Also, how is this card a prophet? I see how it would be nice to go with the green birgade as of John the Baptist, but they didn't have dreams from God that came true.
The card refers to one specific group (of 12) of John's Disciples. Also, the story says that when Paul prayed for them to receive the Holy Spirit, they began to speak in tongues and prophesy.

I agree that Hidden Treasures could make this ability unbalanced...part of the reason I made the numbers so big was that it would be unlikely for JD's to gain initiative right away.

An N.T. Prophet able to both recur and play for no cost and an easily-met condition? WAY OP.

Would this really be a prophet? Did they have a dream from God that came true? This is why I'm not sure on (whether?) they should be in green birgade or purple birgade or both.

most other brigades and strategies have too many OP'd cards, why not let N.T. Prophets have one too?

What other Heroes are this OP? Green already has an OP Hero, Simeon.

Again, the Bible says they prophesied. Read the story.

Job.
Phinehas.
Watchful Servant.

I don't think Simeon is any more OP than any of those 3.

Job isn't OP. Dust and Ashes and Job's Faith make him strong.

Phinehas isn't OP. Covenant with Phinehas and Zeal make him strong.

Watchful Servant is OP, but I'd argue still not as OP as this card would be.

I would argue Simeon is more powerful than Job or Phinehas. Even with the extra cards factored in that specifically make the other two more powerful, I'd still say Simeon is more powerful than either of them.

I read it and it doesn't say anything about them prophesizing. They were probably taught by Apollos and only had been baptized in the way John the Baptist was baptizing. So, Paul told them about Jesus and they became followers of Jesus. There was nothing in there about prophesy.

Quote
1 While Apollos was at Corinth, Paul took the road through the interior and arrived at Ephesus. There he found some disciples 2 and asked them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when[a] you believed?”
They answered, “No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.”

3 So Paul asked, “Then what baptism did you receive?”

   “John’s baptism,” they replied.

4 Paul said, “John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.” 5 On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied. 7 There were about twelve men in all.

Straight from the NIV...

I wasn't quite sure on how to do that and yes, I did forget to take Minister's name out. I didn't look at it until later. I forgot about the part where they propesized even though I read it in the morning. Thanks for pointing it out.
