Lost Soul
While in a player's land of redemption, that player may not draw more than 1 card by an ability used by that player after his draw phase.
-
Let me simplify that for you.
While in LOR, That player may not draw more than one card outside of the draw phase.
-
That's a different ability that Gohanick's, not a simplification. His prevents cards drawn by that player's ability, not others. Your version does both.
-
aaahhh. ok
-
Why would you want to stop your draw abilities? If you made it like the Hopper, where it goes in an opponents LOR or it prevented all opponents, then it would be a good card.

Fixed for ya bud XD

Land of Redemption, not Land of Bondage. It works when the other player rescues it, not when you play it.

oh!
-
Yeah, I misread that.
-
I think it should go even farther than that.
While this soul is in a players Land of Redemption, Negate all card drawing abilities on that players cards.
-
I like the idea behind this card, but I think it would be way too powerful, maybe limiting it to one drawing special ability would be okay, but I think it just completely destroys WAY too many cards otherwise.
-
Name them... all it really stops are the play next and draw cards and the set-asides. We all hate the set-asides, and making the play next's a little less powerful is just fine with me. The most powerful drawing abilities (hur and LaFS) can't be negated, so I feel like this is fairly balanced...
-
But, last time I heard (been a while though) gained abilities can't be negated. Therefore cards like provisions would not be affected by this lost soul.

Don't THINK it would stop set-asides but I could be wrong... you can play them... and when they come back they're set aside and cannot be negated. Or since it will eventually be a drawing ability it's negated as you play it? Sheesh... but then you get it back in your hand because since it's negate you can' play it?! AGHGHH!!!! Merry Christmas!

Set asides CBN so it wouldn't be affected by it...

Bronze Laver, Gifts of the Magi are two that come to mind, also all of the interupt battle and draw cards.
There are a TON more, but I guess not that many people play characters with draw abilties.
On the other hand, it would shut down Generous Widow and Mayhem, which I suppose would be okay. I dunno, I'm still torn. :/
-
I thought set-asides couldn't be negated because they were gained abilities for CHARACTERS. I would think that the priests set-asides could still be negated.
-
This card would also cause other cards to be played in different ways. Imagine......
Rescue the anti-draw LS- play Falling Away so It comes to your Land of bondage and then you give it to your opponent.
See the anti-draw LS enter opponents LOB so you trade it for the wanderer.
See the anti-draw LS enter opponents LOB so you play your burial on it to avoid killing your speed deck.
Or, Speed decks Die!!!!!! and Redemption players nationwide rejoice, a new national holiday is created in the honor of this card, Peace breaks out in the middle east, the entire world gives one big group hug.
(ok that may be a stretch, but it would be cool)
-
*cough* Hur *cough*
-
or wander becomes a staple.

Because it requires a single color LS site, also from what I've seen, in Ga it is too ;)
