this new type of fortress would allow you to place a character (Good or bad ) on it for 3 turns to add a special ability to it. For war or for spritual knowledge or to give it an additional identifier like Prophet, priest etc.
-
I like the idea...and seeing as you are a playtester perhaps we will see something like this happen in the future. ;)
-
a temple for the priests to train in maybe?
-
The Coliseum + Gladiators! ;)
-
John, is this a spoiler?
-
No..... not yet, anyway just something to chew on to spur discussion.
-
What would the special ability be though¿
-
Fortess
holder may set aside a O.T. male human hero here for five turns on return holder discard a card from hand to make hero gain the identifier "priest"
i like it
-
I've long thought that their should be a set-aside card that takes a human Hero, sets him aside for a certain number of turns, and he comes back as a WC hero. I don't know if there would be a Biblical basis for training to become a priest though, as that was a hereditary office.

I agree with having a "training" fort that would make characters warrior class. That would make strategy even better because then you have to figure out just what character you would want to add to your defense or offense. Maybe even have a fort that would allow you to set 1 character aside for 5 turns to add an additional brigade to them. There could be an identifier stating that only one character can be in the fort at a time.
-
That could make Red a little better. Warrior-class Jael and/or Jephthah would be cool.
-
bah they are useful enough without weapons...WC heroes and weapons (outside of horses or warrior's spear) are overrated... ;D

Training in Righteousness does not suffice already?

Perhaps the card should require that a hero with no special ability is placed in it to gain an ability...

What is wrong with having more than one card with the same ability? I would say maybe it doesn't suffice b/c it is the only card of its kind. If there was a fortress that added brigade colors it would be way better!

No, the point was to have a fortress to train your heroes in. Not a virtually useless artifact to tie up your art pile :P

well you could do the peter/john with no sa + windows+TGT thing
