Overall, OP and a little wordy. Just take off a few clauses and they should be good.

They deserve to be OP, theres been like 10 sets already or so, and yet only 3 heretics.

What's overpowered? Like Knot a Blonde  said, there only a few heretic cards.

If anything, Diotrephes is OP because he helps Creeper so much.  Heretics won T2 at nationals, so it's not like they're unused.

Ok I can see how he is overpowered. I edited it to say if diotrephes is discarded place beneath deck. Better?

A lot better.  The rest are ok, I'd change "ignore" to "Return to territory" otherwise, one doesn't want to give infinite inish.  Unless they change the rules, that is.

A side point, who'd be the NT authors?  We assume the authors of some books (Like Luke wrote Acts) but not all are guaranteed.

Well, Paul for sure. I'd imagine that Luke could included as well. Matthew, Mark, and John too. That's all I can think of.

Those aren't the people I'd be worried about.  The problem is that we don't know for sure every author of the NT, and there are some books (Hebrews) that we have no idea who the author is.  Luke, Paul, Apollos and Priscilla/Aquila have all been considered.  What qualifies one to be a NT author?

That's just not a good identifier to bring into the game. Go with "Evangelist" or something.
