In light of the new rules, I made these Sites:

Shinar

Egypt

I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Sodom protects souls from opponent's SoG/NJ (and your own Burial), and that's it? I like it sort of, since it stops doms, but in most cases, your opponent can just SoG something else, so all it will really do is prevent your Burial. It may be good combined with the 2/3-Liner, but that isn't a good thing IMO.

Shinar I really like. Useful pretty much only in a dedicated sitelock deck.

HATE Egypt. NOT the kind of counter we should be using for ANYTHING IMO. It doesn't really even discourage CBN cards (at least not enough for people to remove them from decks), it just supports a soul-burying strategy, which is terrible. Maybe if it also placed itself beneath deck, the cost would balance it. (That would also give more reason to use Building Egypt.)

With Sodom, you can completely stop your opponent from using SoG/NJ at all. Use the */4, NT and Site Doubler, and you're looking at 4 souls that can't be rescued by Doms. Granted if they use Hopper they can still use SoG, or if they manage to gen another soul, but there are ways to stop that very easily.

Egypt would just be in every deck, maybe add "If you have an Egyptian in play" or something along those lines.

The other two are situationally useful and balanced.

Maybe get over your addiction to CBN if you don't want Egypt hiding souls?

Maybe make a reason not to play Egypt in every deck I build?

It becomes a wasted slot because people aren't using as much CBN.

A card isn't OP or a staple in a bad way if the only reason it would be either is because it stops other OP cards.

I'm pretty sure I'd still use the best cards in the game even if a soft counter came out.

I realize that, but that doesn't mean it's not too powerful of a card that exists without a cost to the user.

Again I maintain that it's not too powerful if the only reason it would be too powerful is that the cards your opponent put in his deck are too powerful.

Every Knee Bows
Spoiler (hover to show)

Necromancy
Spoiler (hover to show)

Now that the dom cap is in place, there's room for more niche Dominants. The first is designed to make LotS less of a no-brainer, since your opponent can drop Every Knee Bows and then hit you with a DoN, Burial and FA. The second is meant as the counter to Grapes (AotL balances CM, FA balances NJ, Burial balances HT, and Necromancy would counter Grapes) that would not help the meta-defense but would help real defenses immensely.

Every Knee Bows probably has a million uses. I'm okay with the one you mentioned, and I love the anti-Uzzah and anti-Naz possibilities. I'm not sure if I like it negating protect forts, though. Overall, I'm thinking the card might be TOO flexible, and may be used too often.

Necromancy is beautiful.

Every Knee bows is amazing, if it was in print it would be in my deck.

Not sure how much if ever I would use Necromancy.

Every Knee Bows:

Negate Protect Abilities

Necromancy:

Search each Discard Pile for an Evil Human with offense 4/* or greater and put in your territory.

Are you kidding me?

Evil recursion is one of the best abilities in the game if it used correctly, I can't see the link but if it is crimson or pale green that card would be in every single Bab deck because you can only angle of the Lord Nerg one time.
The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

It's a dom.  That's why I probably wouldn't use it, with the cap in effect it would be hard to fit it into many of my decks.

So, with necromancy, I search all discards for an evil character and add it to my territory?

I'd be more comfortable with Every Knee Boys if it negated "Protect and Play abilities." Otherwise ET+AoCP would come back with a vengeance (at least in T2, where people have to put characters in territory). I'd also add "this turn" so that it would actually stop Uzzah (after Uzzah is discarded, his ability can't be targeted by a negate, AFAIK). That way you could play it in your prep phase, and the ability would carry over to battle phase.

Correct. I dislike the jiggery pokery involved in having to pick one, then search it in favor of being able to search all but only select one.

@ Prof, good idea there. The "this turn" shouldn't be necessary since you can attack with your Hero, then play Every Knee Bows before they can block. I'm always wary of things that last a whole turn; while I can't think of any ways to majorly abuse it, Golgotha.

Although it would probably make Necromancy OP, I think it'd be cool if it searched for 2 in any discard pile that has both a magician and a demon in territory.  Or did something else if a magician was in territory.  Maybe the convert ability only works if a magician is in territory?
