For the second, I'm not sure if CBN would make it too OP (for all I know, it's uber OP already), so it's in italics for further deliberation.
Foolish Conceit
[Brown EE | 2/4 | Proverbs 26:12]
If a lone hero is in battle, interrupt the battle and set that hero aside until its owner plays a good dominant or a card with "Humility," "Faith," "Wisdom," or "Truth" in the title. Cannot be interrupted.
12 Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? there is more hope of a fool than of him.
Pit and Stone
[Brown EE | -/- | Proverbs 26:27]
Negate instead abilities this turn. Discard all heroes in play. During your next upkeep, discard all your evil characters in play and in your hand regardless of protection. [Cannot be negated.]
27 Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him.
-
The first is good. The second would never be used without the CBN and would be way OP with it. Idk how to change it to find middle ground.
-
Yeah, that was my problem, too. =/
Would CBP or CBI make any difference either way?
-
Nope. CBP still NU CBI still OP.
-
I would take out the CBN and the "insteaded" clause on that Guy, and put a "If any opponents' heroes are discarded this way," before the next clause. That might make it a little UP, but that's better than the way it is now IMO.
Or maybe make it CBI rather than CBN just for a little less insanity.
-
I would put it more as: 'Negate Instead Abilities until the end of your turn. Discard all Heroes in play. During your Next upkeep Phase, Discard all Evil Characters in play and in hand. Cannot be Interrupted'
That would work better and I think it would be fun, but not as bad as AoC because all EC's have to go too. But it also stops Herod's Temple too which is very good.
-
The problem with that, MML, is you could still Herod's Temple your evil characters, which I didn't want, so that's why I have it worded the way it is.

How? It negates Instead abilities until the end of ur turn.
-
I don't like giving this the ability to negate all insteads for the entirety of my turn and the remainder of the opponent's turn that I play it in (as well as any other opponent's turns if it's a MP game).
-
Doesn't Herod's Temple only instead abilities used by opponent?
-
Holy crap, you're totally right. I'm an idiot. >_<
-
I don't think giving evil characters an Authority of Christ (p) equivalent is the worst thing in the world. Definitely wouldn't make it brown though, due to Haman's Plot.

Well, it was just so that u couldn't Instead ur EC's on it as well. But I understand then, u could put it as 'Until your Preparation Phase.' then so u can use ur HT if u want to during battle.
I hate that card!!!! Especially if the Opponent has a lot of Matt Enhancements.... It's horrible!
I do have a question though, Are u able to trigger the effect if u decked out or can't u because ur not meeting the cost?
-
Herod's Temple? No, you can't use it if your deck is empty.

You could make it brown/black :)
-
I was thinking maybe gray, but their OT themes aren't really good (emperors are okay, but meh). Course, this might make them better, lol.

okay, I wasn't sure if u couldn't or not.
