Great draft. I had a super fast deck, using The Angel at the Oak, Samuel with King Saul and David, Jair, and Words of Encouragement. I thought I'd see a lot of red, but didn't until last round. I only saw one other Judges tin. Lots of Isaiah, but predominantly Kings of Israel. Only one Hosea deck. Some blue...
First Round: James Roepke (5), SomeKittens' Brother (3?), Caleb Love (2?), Myself (4).
First Round Samuel abuse with King Saul and David drawing. Soul distribution didn't fall my way. Roepke was owning with Isaiah. Caleb couldn't stop him, and was sitting to his right.
Second Round: Jonathan Pequinot (3?), Myself (5), other people (one of which took third).
First Round Samuel abuse with King Saul and David drawing. Nailed them with a Holy Unto the Lord FTW.
Third Round: Joey Shivers, Myself (5), Other People
Nailed them with a Holy Unto the Lord FTW.
Fourth Round: Prof U (who is a troll) (3), Josh Knitt (3), Jason Chandler (2) Myself (5)
I think those were the scores. First turn Holy Unto the Lord, everybody started at one. Then everybody went a turn without drawing a soul. Prof had Genesis and was drawing an extra card each turn. I was speeding through my deck. Prof had some good defense, and I found myself forced to attack him. I go out with Samuel and David, and he blocks and plays Abondonment. I negate and discard him with Samuel's Edict, and he couldn't stop it (he had used a Moses Kills the Egyptian the previous turn). He activates Household Idols. Next turn I go after him with David and he drops a King Sennacharib from his hand, and I played Bravery of David, Arrow of Deliverance, and Steadfastness of Peter to win that battle. He deactivates Household Idols, trolling me to attack with Samuel and David. I went with Daniel, and he blocked with Archers of Kedar to my King Zechariah. I play Valley of Salt to discard my own character. I then attack Jason last turn and play Furnace of God's Wrath FTW.
Final Round: Myself (4), Eric Wolfe (5), Another guy I can't remember the name of (3), Scott Reuter (3).
Finally play a red deck and another judges deck. Unfortunately, that meant his Samuel could band to my David/King Saul. He had a Prince Jonathan though, so that was awesome. Had an epic battle rescueing with Otheniel and playing Faith of Children, Humility of Moses, and Fear of the Lord (to discard Useless Tactics), and Eric finally plays Paul's Girdle after wasting a bunch of enhancements. I play Samuel's Edict. So good. Last turn, Scott didn't draw a soul and attacks with the massive Samuel band, when he should have attacked with Captain, and the guy blocks KTP-III and plays DoU. No souls for me to rescue, so I go with Angel at the Oak and Jair to draw four, and don't get my Gibeonite Trickery or Pharoah's Magicians, so Eric wins.
