I like it but I think Altar of Incense belongs in there.

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

Did you use Dungeon over and over again with Raiders Camp? Did it work?

How would he use it over and over again?

Jeffrey, you are amazing!

Okay... so I had the nerve to make his deck (he wanted me too), the night before and never play it. This guy takes it and places 2nd place with it in the most competitive category at nationals! He's amazing! He'd never even seen the deck until the day he had to use it.

EDIT: Fixed the name.  ;D

The defense stalls/generates souls. Gibeonite Treaty generates souls, so does dungeon. Scorn of Michael is played on Korah to band in foul spirit, and negate everything except that band. Idolaters captures Aaron (aaron may just seem like fluff), which is pretty much an instant block with raider's camp.

The offense just wins. Interrupts, some cbn, lots of battle winners, it gets the job done.

Not that my opinion really matters, but I think the deck looks really solid.  It packs a lot of power and has a few nice tricks that most people won't expect.  A good deck will only get you so far though.  Mistake free play is more important and makes the difference between 2 players who both have good decks.  It was your playing skills, not just the deck that got you to the top.

I wouldn't worry a whole lot about what people who didn't play/place at Nationals think.  They really don't know what the field was like there so they're in no place to judge, even if they're a great deck builder/player.

It's too bad we didn't get the chance to play one another. :)

would you like to elaborate on the point of "packs a lot of power and has a few nice tricks that most people won't expect"
it would have been interesting if we played each other  :)

Gabe and Jeff should have played a friendly match just like many players who placed top three but had not played each other.

Kudos to the two of you and I thank God for the blessing of at least being beside you guys in the last round.  I will never forget the experience especially that at that table was my best hosting buddy, John!

As soon as he gives me permission, I will post the name of the person whose deck I'm dedicating my Nats experience to --- I played his deck design in most of my T1 rounds.  I even suggest dedicating top deck designs of at least Regionals top placers who are not able to attend Nats --- I mean some players playing with those deck types out of their generosity at least in some if not all their rounds.  It'll make the deck inventor truly blessed and proud to have his/her deck played and win at a National level.

Godbless all!

Now I have not played the game in a few years, but I dont understand why you have 8 LS if you only need to have 7 in your deck of 56 cards. Please elaborate for me.

Thanks,

P.S. going to try this deck out on RTS to get a feel for the game again.....

The last LS on the list (Hopper) doesn't count as a LS for deck building purposes.

Because I didn't feel the deck needed it. Turns out it didn't. Would I try to fit it in if it was going to be used a lot this year? Probably... but I don't feel it's a must have card. A lot of times I find it just sits in my hand all game.
