The thinking behind this deck was that I am a type 2 player, and I never play type 1 so I needed something that I knew well and was comfortable with, yet still competitive and fun. I know orange, and I know black. I also know A-bomb, so I combined them all with sites for it to work effectively.  The reason for it being 70 cards is because I wanted a defense that could block the entire game, and it's in my redemption genes. So pretty much it is 70 so it can last all game, and have everything I needed. On a side note, I never tested this deck, the first game I played with it was round 1 of nationals, so it's not like I had time to cut down even if I wanted.

+1     Tyler, what decks did you have trouble competing against? Nice deck !

Cool deck. I assume you used Judge's Seat to pick of ECs and used a late game widow to nuke their hand?

Did you ever time out?
Why are you using 8 Lycaonias instead of something like BBH and Babylons?

I imagine he chose Lycaonia because no hero has access to an NT site that doesn't have access to an OT site (but a hero does have acces to OT sites and not NT sites). I am just guessing though.

I like your deck layout. My version of this concept was probably too clunky and defensive - this one is capable of moving a bit faster, even though I know you told me you typically waited for players to deck. I guess your sitelock really helped speed the game up though - I had to defend RAs, while you only had to defend until you locked out. Nice deck.

I am using green sites b/c I can negate what green uses, and so I have access to BBH, and so they think twice before filling BBH, they might want to use it for access. Also everyone uses Babylonx3-6 and a BBH, so why would I? That would defeat the purpose of locking people out. I did not time out one game, but could have against Gabe but he admitted defeat in the last 30 seconds. All my games, minus my losses were pretty drawn out, and all close games.

How many BBH / Babylon site lock did you go against? And, what happened if you went against other site lock decks ? Like a single color purple site lock . Or, did you not go against any!  ;)
I would think you would have one of the sites out, and swap it for dragon raid. Last Question, why do you have so many demons?

I would love to go against other sites decks because I would just there whole game and wait for Abomb/Judge's Seat to take out everything. Also U went against one BBH defense. WHo uses single color purple site lock? And I have so many demons for GoH/Intimidation.

I was just saying, what if you did go against one. I am not sure how my brain think's compared to others but, I would use single colored sites that I think are the brigade color that are less used in tournaments. Purple is one! (well mabey disciples will help purple with that! )

I was planning on using it for teams. Wild Bill has used it in the past, since most decks only include a few purple heroes, if any. TGT doesn't always use purple, W/C banding doesn't always use purple, and rogue offenses seldom use purple.

Fixed. I've played too many Disciples offenses to not comment on that.

i beat this deck basically bcuz i drew mine alot quicker and i destroyed his high places with T-blast b4 he could get abom on me. plus i had two site access cards most of the game and joanna with TGT which kinda destroyed his site lock on me(b4 he got philly outpost and gates of hell there was nothing he could do to stop the tomb

Cool deck Tyler! And congrats for the excellent finish and winning booster!  :)
Are you gonna abandon us T2 players now for the glitz and glory of T1 and Booster?  :P

I am curious as to what Lost Souls you used. I would go figure site doubler and the discard lost souls but what else?

Did you ever feel like 70 cards was too many?

I actually didn't use the site doubler lol. I used N.T., FM, demon discard, place an EC lost soul, punisher, speed bump, thorns, hand dc, and remover, and maybe frp if that's not enough.

70 cards never seemed to get in the way?

70 cards was the reason I placed.

How do did you stop abomb?
Title: Re: 2010 T1-2P 3rd Place

70 cards was a main reason I placed because the deck included everything I needed, as well as it stopped the 56-63 cards decks, and could keep up with the 100+ deck range. Do I need to stop A-bomb? Once again, my 70 cards will outlast the 56 card A-bomb decks.

Tyler, what decks did you have trouble competing against? Nice deck !
My only 2 losses both came to very similar decks. Both green teal, but one green teal used TGT. Both were too fast and one was a great Mayhem for him, and the other loss was him just having everything, and my defense being shy.

So basically in the games you lost, you just didnt get good draws!  :o

I'm not. I like the quickness and freedom of deck building T1 has, but T2 has so much less luck involved, and people actually play defense. except for Gabe...
