This is the deck that I played to 3rd at MW Regionals and 2nd at Nationals this year - It's tournament record overall was 9-3. (4-1 MW Regs),(5-2 Nats)
This deck started out as a modified version of 'The Deck' from last year - But as the year progressed, I kept moving closer and closer to a balanced deck. If you notice, my good count is at 19, evil at 14. Yet I still maintained all of the power of 'The Deck' I am playing a ton of strong FBTN heroes, The Strong Angel was a late season add that paid huge dividends. In addition to that, the speed elements simply shifted into the defense. Since Nazareth and Darius Decree were both extremely popular this year, I needed to move away from the TC abuse that last years build ran. Proud Pharisee and Pretension more than make up for it, since they can be used to stellar effect defensively. If you notice, while not the usual combo, the defense is capable of going infinite with Scribe, who is just a ballin' EC in general. The ability to play both Scattered and Stone (Albiet not CBN) is really good. This list is actually unpolished. Simeon was in flux as a Musician, and though I expected him to get ruled against me, since I was checking in T2 decks all morning I didn't have time to take him out. I'm not 100% sure what my plan of action for replacing him was. But I was leaning towards Abiathar for Samuel, and then finding room for a Kidron which was near the top of my cuts list. Additionally, I realized between Regionals and Nationals that I wanted to play Darius Decree instead of Gifts which really didn't do much for me. While I think the first change helps the deck significantly, the second one didn't matter in any games at Nationals, and is more of a judgement call.
