I thought I was buying TLG credit, but it was only a 20% discount (which I paid $20 for). I would have had to spend $200 to get the full amount I paid for (up to $40 off - the max the 20% could be), and even then, with already paying $20 for the discount, it would only be a ~10% discount. I definitely did not intend to make this purchase and didn't understand it from the get-go. Right away, after purchasing and being told what I really had, I asked for a refund, but he didn't give one. I told Ken from TLG about it, and he suggested I write this negative feedback. He graciously gave me a kind offer from TLG, even though it was not him who had sold me the discount - he had just given Mageduckey the discount in exchange for cards Mageduckey was donating for playgroups (Ken didn't profit on it at all). But Mageduckey wouldn't give me a refund because, as he told me: "As such, I don't really want to refund the $20 because I've been waiting a solid 8 months to get *something* out of donating over a thousand dollars worth of cards (instead of selling them like I could have)." ...but Ken told me that the donation was for new playgroups - he didn't profit on it at all, and just graciously gave Mageduckey a 20% discount at TLG in order to promote donations to new playgroups.
I waited a long while and sent Mageduckey numerous messages since the purchase requesting a refund (only 1 of which he responded to, saying no), and so now have gone ahead with the negative feedback.
