Scrolls Only

Do you have hundreds or thousands of classic cards you don't use anymore, since rotation came out?  Do you keep the first 4 rotation cards from a booster pack and chuck the classics in a big box of other unused cards?  We have the solution for you: Scrolls Only T1-2P.

This variation of the game allows you to utilize all those cards you've spent so much money on and spent years (even decades) collecting.

Classic cards only (no rotations). Standard erratas and bans apply.  Initially conceived as a T1-2P but could do the other types.  The focus would be casual play.  The elite players (you know who they are) are probably more focused on rotation decks anyway.  While we welcome all players, we aren't looking for someone to come in and just utterly destroy all Scrolls Only players.  This is more for casual gameplay.  That is why my proposal is that this be a side event at tournaments, with a classics booster pack as the prize for winners, rather than a promo card.

In this forum, we are looking to see who is interested in Scrolls Only play, as well as any suggestions to make this category better.  We are also calling those interested to be playing Scrolls Only throughout the year.  If the community shows an interest, we can get it put in as a side event at tournaments.
Feedback is welcomed and appreciated.

At least it would give me something to play until I get cards from the last 8 years.

Another great reason for this variation!
