I thought this might be an interesting variation to try as far as balancing the game goes. Obviously, this would never work, as it would almost completely destroy the Christian element, but as a fun category, it might be interesting.
So if you haven't figured it out, the winner of a battle would rescue a lost soul (if one is available from an opponent). Doesn't matter if it was a hero or evil character. So if Samuel rescues and gets owned by a KoT, KoT rescues a soul. When it comes down to mutual destruction, the hero would still win, and battles could still only be initiated by heroes. Additionally, Uzzah wouldn't rescue a soul, as he makes you lose the battle.
