Title says all. What do you think is the best theme for a card game and is the most successful? Personally I have always enjoyed Fantasy most but I am really looking for other people's opinoin's as I am pretty much done with my ECG and hopefully will be going the Kickstarter route. The game is a Sci-Fi Fantasy combo with a few other stuff. What do you guys think?

I heard magic would be a good theme for a card game. But I doubt it, it would probably fail miserably.

You should copy some other popular game, only change the name, and resell it.

You should copy some other popular game, only change the name, make it better, have the cards in the game mock the first game, and resell it.

FTFY

Please do not take the above seriously.

How exactly?

Because the amount of provocation in this thread is greater than zero.
An unanswered question is infinitely better than an unquestioned answer.
