I am currently working on developing an online christian game, but am in need of a graphic artist. 3D skills are not required, nor needed. I would just need original images that are not copyrighted. Any contributions to the project will receive a part "ownership" in the game. That means depending on how much ownership you have, you receive a dividend of the profits. Note, I need someone willing to not get paid, because there might not always be profits. The game will be a free game, but hopefully with ads and buyable features, some money can be made to pay for server costs and maybe to pay the developers. Also, if anyone highly experienced in php would like to help, same terms would go to them. Thanks ahead for anyone willing.

I can't really draw but I'm good at thinking stuff up; designing boss fights, levels, etc. PM me if you want to take me up on my offer

I have only been doing this for about a month, so I am not interested in getting any money. Also, I am very beginner , so I can't do a whole lot, so if you are looking for someone with more experience, than ignore this post..

I'd be willing to help. I can't code, I can't draw, but I have some experiance in game design, and would like to see a good christian game be put online.

You may want to change the name of your game.

There is already a game with the name Nephilim.

This could cause you legal problems.

The other game is an occult RPG, which you also probably wouldn't want little kids to accidentally get involved with thinking it was your game.

Well, I don't own Nephilim, I just a programmer for them. And seing how the entire game is based on that name, I think it would be hard to change it.

Nepilim is in the bible, and the game is christian. they stole from our game, not us from theirs.

I sense some defensiveness. Don't kill the messenger. I don't have a dog in this fight. I don't know anything about either game (other than the fact that the other one was created in 1992, making your claim of them copying you, look silly). I just found the other one and thought you should know about it. If you want to put all that time into making a game only to get torpedo'd later by lawsuits, that is your choice. But don't say you weren't warned

to Mark. Lawsuits are bad, bad things. That's the complete opposite message you want to send with a Christian card game.

Technically, you would. A more proper analagy would be that someone else created a religion with a god named Jesus. That would be copying their idea.

They first used the term in regards to a game, which gives them rights to it. You duplicated their use of it, even if it was unintentional. Plus, they likely hold a copyright on the game, and since it was only published 15 or so years ago in America you've got another 35-75 years before you can use it without licensing it from them (similar to how Apple must pay Cisco money because Cisco was the first to call a phone device the "iPhone").

I've done plenty of Graphic stuff, and modded a low-graphics game once. I can do character animations, Backgrounds, logos, anything. I also am learning web design if that may help. What is the game being coded in?
