War of Change is decent (mainly because of the pre-chorus, the rest is pretty boring). Let the Sparks Fly is meh. I really hope to see a lot of progression in this album, but I don't have much hope for that. Welcome to the Masquerade was fantastic as a whole, but only E for Extinction really got my attention (and maybe Out of Control, but meh). Personally, I think they should bring back some of their roots from Phenomenon (probably their best album, but that's completely debatable) and do more of the chill instrumentals (like Phenomenon, I Climb, and Ordinary) that builds into something great. Also, they need to show of Trevor's voice more. I miss those moments where any other hard rock band throws in gritty vocals and Trevor sings it pure. That's why TFK is so good, and I haven't heard it for awhile.
I've grown much more critical of TFK in recent years due to listening to more metal. They're still a great rock band though (one of the best Christian ones, IMO), but they have to be careful about getting too comfortable.
