Welcome to the Official Redemption® Message Board!
When people think of 3D, they are still stuck in the past of having things thrown at you instead of just adding depth to the movie. Now, it's more like the movie is on a stage instead of a flat screen (so nothing is thrown at you during the production).
I just watched it about a week ago in Africa! There isn't even a movie theater were I was!!!How this worked was: There is a missionary family called the acksons who have a move and pizza night every Friday (pizza is a rarely served treat in Bamenda, Cameroon). One night we watched The Hobbit. MR. Jackson got this movie when a DVD showed up at his front door. It was a copy they ship to certain people so that those certain people can preview it before it comes out. Whoever got this copy scrubbed out his name from the whole thing and just left it a mystery.

This would be a DVD screener. Same thing I watched.
