I agree with the first part, but there has to be a statute of limitations on what is and isn't a double post......

Is this still a thing?
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Idc about the necropost, as the necroposter added to the discussion (fwiw). I am just shocked people are still pretending to like ponies  :dunno:

They're not pretending, I don't particularly care for it but there are thousands of people who like the show. I don't see it but then again I love Ed Edd N' Eddy and most people don't understand why so I can see the draw.

No one's pretending to like ponies.  The show is much more popular than you'd think.

To be honest, I wouldn't call it a meme anymore. It's more of a massive fandom now.

Also yes, I still enjoy watching the show too. I don't go out and buy all the little toy ponies, nor do I make any fan art / fiction, I just like to watch it.

I will say, some people are a little too obsessed with it, but what fanbase DOESN'T have those type of people?

nor Do I, But i Do like Looking At The Fan Art, Much of it is Very Beautiful. The Fan Fiction is the Exact Opposite of Beautiful.....

If You want to Watch a Good Episode Try Party of One or Sonic Rainboom.

I gave this an honest shot, really. The show's best moments revolved around slap stick but there wasn't ever any substance. I expected some intellectual jokes now and again because of the popularity but never heard them. Also I didn't see how this show was "original" at all. Slap stick humor, (been done and re-done) plus a few (not really funny just there) pop culture references, and a massive dose of femininity and what comes out? This show...

That all being said, if you like it more power to you... its just not for me...

The Season 2 Episodes are really better than any in season 1 IMO,But if it's not for you that's fine too. :D

In my opinion the season 2 episodes are in general better, but some of my favorites are still in season one, and there are duds of episodes in both seasons.

I'd agree with this.  I also mostly just watch the show.  I'll read the tvtropes page for the show and read a discussion on an episode occasionally, but I mostly just watch the show.

I don't think it's a "massive" fan base, just a very vocal one that makes it seem massive, But they are legitimate either way

Well, if someone is crazy enough to make Looney Tunes cards, then someone probably make MLP cards. (That wouldn't be me!)
