So has anyone seen the Ender's game movie yet?  I thought it was a pretty well done adaptation (even if they did cut most of the Peter/Valentine stuff, and a good bit of the mind game).

(even if they did cut ... a good bit of the mind game).

Card actually mentioned this at one point, way back during scriptwriting. It's REALLY hard to write a movie for something like Ender's Game, for the very reason that so much of it takes place in the character's head.

Haven't seen the movie yet, but I'm actually looking forward to it.
ANB is good. Change my mind.

I was fairly amused at how much the film editors liked Stanley Kubrick films :P Overall good book to film adaptation!

They seemed to have to rush through the story, especially the battle room sections, at lightning speed to fit everything into a 2 hour run time.  the movie could have greatly benefited from being a half hour longer at least.  Plus they changed the ending enough so that any sequels to the movie would have to be much different that the original sequels to the book; they would almost have to write an entirely different story for a movie sequel.
