I don't know everything about the Beatles, but I do recognize the genius for sure. Funny thing is, I remember watching this episode before I even knew who the Beatles were. I appreciate it even more now.

I fit your age bracket (barely), and I don't even like PPG.  However, that episode was actually really cool (of course I am quite biased as a big fan of the Beatles).

I'm 18, don't like the Beatles, and never really liked Powerpuff Girls. That episode was awesome.

Aaaand I just realized that Beatles is not Beetles. I feel so incredibly stupid right now.

...Either that, or there was an insane amount of Beatles references that basically told the rise and fall of the band as well as the fact that it was a good thing that it ended.

First off, Beatles are amazing, that episode was amazing, and the puns were pretty funny.
Sergeant Pepper as the jailer and the Beatles covering their ears was funny.
