I'll be the guy who puts Throne in my Red deck just to mess with my opponent.

for real though, if there is an easy way to pul throne out of your reserve, red has david and jehu that can use throne, and they have counsel, jehu's sword, and not alone. wouldn't be that bad.

I can tell you there's only four cards left to preview that have purple on them, and none of them have Reserve access. So pretty much the only option is Covenant of Prayer (Or Zion, but you're not playing a red deck then)

The big problem is Unity on Benaiah and maybe other cards in the set. She's amazing because drawing is always nice, but it's a tossup on the unity or her draw.

I was describing pre-FoM decks   ;)   I doubt I'd include Abby in a deck with Benaiah, but I can see a couple reasons for doing so.  Like if you run I Am Holy to complement Jehu, or if Hypocrisy or Shrine is in your deck.
If creation sings Your praises so will I
If You gave Your life to love them so will I

Ok, so after looking over everything again, I've decided on a few decks I'm going to be running at the beginning of the season. I'll post some ideas and deck lists I've been kicking around in the deck concepts section in a bit.

I played a few games with a blue genesis Abraham search engine offense that tried to abuse pit of dothan. Pit didn't work quite as much as i'd like, but it was still super fun. Probably won't play it at high level tournaments, but I probably will at a local or district.

I haven't played any games with this yet, but ruth with a few judges looks pretty good with the addition of Jephthah's Daughter and Death of Family. There are so many battle extenders in that deck, and several of them are easy to recur. I'm not sure how well it would actually preform, but it seems pretty strong. I'll have to test it out some time to see how well it does before I rank it.

My final deck I'll be playing utilizes my winners card, The Mighty Warrior! It's a red/purple banding deck with Isaiah, and that's all I'm saying. ;)

I think the Barak/Jael package fits really well. I'm holding out for the last card in the Judges trifecta to be Deborah so hopefully I'm not wrong. That deck really likes CtB.

I'm sorry to disappoint you but Deborah is a better fit in an upcoming set so we won't see her in FoM. Soon though. Maybe sooner than you think. ;)

Must mean that the next set is a Judges set... That's good. Judges could certainly use a boost.  ::)

So now that everything's revealed I've got a few ideas.
The first, and the one that I've been thinking about longest, is flood/antediluvian. While losing Nephilim was a bit of a disappointment to this deck, I think there's still plenty of potential there, especially if there's a bit of defensive splash. Also ANB.
Similarly, Patriarchs looks really promising. The new Abe stuff looks great, and I wouldn't be surprised to see it do really well this year. I'm thinking about doing something akin to the list Isaac posted the other day, possibly paired with a canaanite defense.
As much as I'm sure straight throne will be stronger, I'm probably going to try one or both of Thronebernacle and Thronesaiah. Throwing Ahimaaz and Phineas into a red-focused Throne deck makes a lot of sense, and at that point (and with the fort searches already in place) it's not a far leap to add Tabernacle to the deck and Zeal to reserve. Dave is a musician, too, so he can trigger Tab. It's also great with Purging Evil, although it doesn't get the draw.
I mentioned Thronesaiah the other day, but Mighty Warrior is great at bringing the two archetypes together.

Also Mill Egypt, but my brother has promised to stop playing me if I use it against him, so maybe it won't be my main deck :P

Up till now I've primarily been a T1 player, but this year I'm going to start branching into T2. I'm planning to build a Tabernacle/Moabite deck (since R&D is going to make T1 Tab a bit rough).
ANB is good. Change my mind.

You don't have to play Glory right away or even put an Artifact in Tabernacle...just let it sit there empty giving you infinite Zeal while your opponent mumbles about his useless R&D.  ;D

Yeah, I almost never put anything in mine. I'll take an Aaron's staff if I can get one, but it's not really a big deal if not.

True. That said, with how I'd built my T1 deck, not having Tabernacle is a serious detriment and Glory is a tutor - unless I'm specifically playing around R&D, I'm not going to sit on a Glory if I don't already have Tab. Also the second art slot is like half the reason I like the archetype so much :P
Or, ya'know, they drop Shipwreck/any fort destruction (which I expect will see play, with the cities and Babel in particular) and R&D after the Glory recurs it.

Can it be played/built around? Absolutely. But I personally still think I'd rather play it in T2 where I can run multiple copies of G&O and Zeal so that it doesn't hurt as much when it does go down.

Or you know, just stick an extra copy of The Tabernacle in Reserve just to be safe... ::)

TBH I actually considered throwing a second in the main deck. As with all the questionable deckbuilding decisions for that deck, I justified it as "worst case, it's Tabernacle fodder!" ;D

I have found the most effective method for Forts I want to get quick is to run 1 in the main and 1 in the Reserve. That gives me 3 opportunities to get it opening hand (1 copy plus 2 Covenant of Prayers). Then, if I draw the main deck copy first, the other copy isn't clogging my deck and I can retrieve it later only if needed.
