Looking at my brown defense in one of my decks, I noticed that two combos that I would enjoy are not in the deck (for space reasons). So, I want to make another deck using brown that's not a site lock deck. I would like to make it have a two brigade defense. What, in your opinion, would be the best partner for brown (excluding orange)?

Pale green. They band nicely together and having Gib Trick and Forgotten Histroy are very nice.
-
Depends...site lockout? If so, perhaps crimson.

The defense will not be a site-lock.
I guess I should tell you what I'm thinking.
There are two comboes that brown has that will complete wipe the opponent's heroes. Other than the comboes and a couple of other cards, brown, IMO, doesn't offer much as a stand alone non site-lock defense. So, I wanted to add another brigade into the mix.
-
Crimson, the mix of play first, immunity, ftbn, and recur between the two brigades is nice.
Brown actually is quite powerful on its own. Even without sites.

Do you have AIM? I want to talk to you... I play almost exclusively brown defenses. I think I know the two combos your referring to though. ;)

If you want to destroy the opponent's Heroes, probably black.

I'm actually at work right now (on my lunch). I'll send ya a pm on the comboes (it's not like they're a big secret though :P).

I might check that out when I have time.

Ah, well do you have AIM for some other time then? :P

Three nukes ;D.
I should also check out my black beauties. :)
I think I will call this deck, "Nuke 'Em" I'm already thinking of the offense (one combo is obvious for the offense).
Keep the suggestions coming. I'm still not set on what the additional brigade will be.

According to Yahoo! Answers:
"Most other earth tones will go well with brown, but think about some touches of color too or it'll be boring. Orange, yellow, ochers, siennas, white, turquoise, burgundy will all go nicely, as will gold."
-
Wow... You won like the... one thousandth thread now? ;)
-
KFC?
-
Wow, all it takes to win a thread is to make a snarky, unrelated, unhelpful remark? No wonder I've won like a thousand. And to think, I've wasted posts by trying to be helpful in the past...
-
I think Mierz should be banned for the reason he stated. If that is not enough, then he should be banned just for using the word "snarky."
-
Yeah, what is he, British or something?
What a git. I am gobsmacked.

Actually, I have a deck that's only single-color good and bad. It's Blue and Brown. I think it's quite effective. One of the strategies I use in the deck is to remove their cards from the game, whether from the discard pile or from in play.

Brown and orange work well together
-
With Unclean Spirit, Esau, and Gib trick, you can pair Brown with just about anything, especially these:
Emps+horses+Heavy Taxes
Assyrians+2k horses+Forgotten History
Egyptians+horses+Wonders Forgotten
Syrians+horses+Balaams Dis
But brown definitely doesn't go with FedEx.

How about UPS?
Or how about if Fed Ex and UPS merged? They could call it FedUP. :P
