The Other Gates

As mentioned in another topic, I am teaching a Bible study on the kings of Israel and Judah.  For the first twenty minutes, we learn about a king.  The last forty minutes, we play Redemption (not only for fun but so the peeps can learn about more characters in the Bible besides the top main ones.  So I decided that my forth deck would be a Gates Of Jerusalem deck.  I'm only planning on using the deck for the class and not at tourneys so don't worry about warning me on how it's not that good :).

So, can you please:

1) Tell me what would be the best offense for the defense (excluding DI themes since I have used up most of my cards with my deck and my friends deck).  I'm thinking about a kings offense but not sure.

2) Dig up other people's GOJ decks so I can see what they did?

I don't need it to be teh uber but I still want to be a decent deck that can beat them a few times (since my other decks are too above all but one of them).

Thanks for the help :)

I would play build a FBNB deck around David and David's Dudes from I Chronicles and II Samuel. That way you have the good side representing the united kingdom of Israel, and the evil represented by the later splintered kingdom. Plus most of the dudes are mentioned in I Chronicles 11, which is where David becomes King.

The other advantage is that FBNB is relatively simple for players to understand yet still fairly powerful.

Of course, good kings versus evil kings is a fun idea also.
