T-2 Hero-light deck

This is for people like Karazy that like unbalanced decks like heroless.  I don't think it can be truly heroless in type 2 but this is something to get closer to that.  It is also sort of a speed play.

You put in 5 copies of all the blue set-asides and use Water to Wine to draw them out; I think there are 7 + 2 multi-color which would mean you search for up to 37 cards with one card.  Now this isn't going to really help the offense but it will mean that what remains is much more defensive oriented.  Some ideas on how I would build this:

Deck Size - 150+
Put in copies of I am Holy, Storehouse, and (depending on the ruling for Water to Wine) Wasting Disease.  Wasting Disease means that you don't have to play the set-asides and then you have a supply for I am Holy for the rest of the game.  You use a couple Iron Pan's on BTN heroes and they'll wait there for the end.  Add in Judges Seat, I am Patience/Rhoda, etc. for more attrition.  Probably play with a evil lockout defense that can search for multiple sites, maybe brown and gold?  Or use the Lot's Wife/Babel combo to band in all the evil gold deck discard.

Anyone have other thoughts on how to use this?

Interesting idea, so using these type of cards as "filler" to balance the deck out?

I was about to say... Wouldnt a bunch of genesis characters + Creation of the World be a better option?

Exactly.  I'm not sure it will be a tournament winning deck but how else do you really go extra defense heavy in type 2?

Thought of another combo to add or substitute in this deck.

Creation of the World: Take all Heroes having a Genesis reference out of your draw pile and band them into the Field of Battle.

I found 26 different Genesis heroes listed in the Reg.  There is also one generic character listed in there.  You could pull out a LOT of your offense very easily with those.  I would probably put Reheboam x 5 and maybe search or False Peace to help play these sooner.

If you had 5 copies of those Genesis heroes, could you search for all of them?  Of course the extras would be discarded but is that legal?  Then you could pull out your entire 100 card offense with one card.

thats.... an interesting question. I wish I had an answer for you...  :-\

Still, this is a fun and karazy idea.... having something you can pull out ENTIRELY with one card as a  balance for a larger defense. You could also try working that filler into your offense as well, making it not entirely wasted space.

You can pull out the extras and they would be instantly discarded.

Intresting Idea, You might wanna hit up guardian for tips on hero-lite t2s. He had one that worked pretty well. You might consider doing the following for a 50ish card offense
Wall X 2
SH x 2
An of dam X3
Built on the rock X 4
Iahealing X 3
Zeal X 4
Reach X 5
aocP X3
t blast X3
Blessings X 5
Iacreator X 3
Iaholy X 3
Random angels X 12
Chamber of angels X 2
Zach X 3
The body of christ X 3

aaaand 5 saul/pauls

Not super original but it should get the job done.
Not quite a ghost...but not quite not.
