Cactus Game Design Message Boards

Lately I've been pondering the idea of a deck based around setting up quickly without actually drawing, to minimize the number of lost souls you draw, while also attempting to get out your opponent's lost souls.  I was thinking that cards such as Angel at Shur, I Am Creator etc. would work well, or even Creation of the World if I used a Genesis offense (which would mean I could use Stone Pillar at Bethel for even more searching!).  A deck discarding defense would annoy my opponent as well as help bring out more lost souls, and possibly cripple my opponent's strategy.  Cards like Hur and Seeker of the Lost would also help bring out lost souls, while causing even further annoyance.  I think that a large deck, maybe 70-ish cards would work well with this, if I had multiple cards that could search for the cards I needed to set up my offense and defense, as if I had ways to shuffle my lost souls back in and wasn't drawing more than 3 per turn, I might be able to keep my Land of Bondage empty for a good long while.

Any opinions or ideas?  What brigades or strategies would work well with this?  Are there any themes or specific cards you would like to see in a deck like this?

Or pairing Genesis offense with Egyptian defense for opponent deck discard fun.  I have been playing a deck like this and it has done wonderfully lately.

If you ran a green/Blue gen offense with micah, hidden treasures, pillar of B, it should work well.

But Micah would ruin it - no Benjamin or Zebulun! Abel is what you need.

Yeah, I tried Abel with Genesis heroes right after FooF came out when I first built my Genesis and Egyptian deck, and it never worked out for me either. I might have given up on it too quickly as well, but I ended up decided that fitting in two more awesome deck/hand discard cards worked better with what I was doing with the deck.

Green Prophet with Hidden Treasures, play Creation of the World to band in all Genesis heroes, play Abe's Servant to Ur on Jacob

that would just negate the banding, wouldn't it? Even if benjamin was in the mix, his ability of making genesis enhancements unnegatable would be negated, because all the heroes aren't genesis.

If the green prophet were Abel, this would work spectacularly.
