Rahab deck type 1

Hey everyone, since I love my genesis/magicians deck which you guys kindly helped me with, I have played it so much that I have realised I REALLY need another deck. And for a while, I have had this niggling desire to construct a deck built around cloud Rahab. for the defense, I am thinking either canaanites, philistines or a mix of both. it is only in the concept stage, but I am pretty sure its going to be a joshua/warrior class offense with a canaanite/philistine defense. At this point, I am just wondering about your opinions on whether I'm heading in the right direction, or if there are any suggestions about what else could work in this deck.

Also, keeping in mind the deck is built around cloud Rahab. So far, I have a short list of some cards on the offense which I would like to put in, thanks to theguardian for suggesting auto, captain, israelite archer, which I hadn't thought of.

I've identified some cards that will work with the themes mentioned above, but am also considering splashing some judges in as well. I'll leave a list in a second post right below this one of cards I am considering, and any feedback or helpful hints would be greatly appreciated. If there are any changes, I will edit and add a disclaimer (eg version 2).

*For current list of cards, check my post directly beneath this one

List of cards for consideration: version 4 (57 cards before Lost Souls and Dominants)

(17 Heroes):

Rahab (CoW)
Spy
Captain of the Host (Ki)
Joshua, Son of Nun
Israelite Archer
David the Shepherd
Ahimelek the Hittite
Asahel (TxP)
Jael
Abishai (Ki)
AUtO
Ishmaiah the Gibeonite
Samuel (FooF)
Caleb (FooF)
Jephthah (J)
Simeon (Wa)

*Gideon (J)- (what are your thoughts on this one?)

(13 Good enhancements):

Scarlet Line
Faith of Rahab
Jael's nail
Faith of Joshua
Bravery of David
A Soldier's Prayer
Battle Cry
Furnace of God's wrath
Capturing Canaan
Deborah's Directive
Trumpet and Sword

*Samuel's Edict (might only use if also using Gideon)
*Gideon's Call (J)- (only if using Gideon)

(3 Fortress/Site):

Canaan (Purple site)
Tower of Thebez
Jericho (CoW)

(2 Artifact/Curse):

Stalks of Flax
Gibeonite Curse

(1 DUA enhancement):
Foreign Sword

(10 Evil Characters):

Gibeonite Delegates
The Woman of Thebez (RoA)
Abimelech (RoA)
Sisera
Foreign Wives
Jezebel (RoA)
Shechem (RoA)
Army of Jericho
Sisera's Army
Lot's Wife

(11 Evil Enhancements):

Abandonment (EC)
Ishbibenob's Sword
Seized by Rioters
Pride of Simon (G)
Wickedness of Delilah (I)
Fortify Site (RoA)
Stone of Thebez (RoA)
Babel
Devourer (Wa)
Joseph in Prison

*Goliath's Armor- I am adding this back in because I think there might be a pretty cool combo between goliath's armor, army of jericho and canaan. My thinking is this:

1. Place Goliath's Armor on Army of Jericho. Army of Jericho is now immune to purple heroes.
2. Block with Army of Jericho. Search deck for Canaan, which is a purple site. Put lost soul in Canaan- possibly Two/Three Liner, Or one that I would benefit from keeping in play the most.
Under the right circumstances, it could be an auto block. (Unless there are plenty of other souls for them to choose from)

Potential problems:
1. Coliseum, as Goliath's Armor is cbn.
2. Goliath's armor possibly being a useless waste of space in most situations other than the described scenario above.

What are your thoughts on this?

At this point (version 3), I am using a Canaanite defense. I am using Joshua heroes, but am also using David the Shepherd, Auto and strongly considering using 2 Judges (Samuel (FooF), and Jephthah (J)). Obviously, with 56 cards before lost souls and dominants, this is by no means a final deck list. Your advice on which cards from the above mentioned to take out would be very much appreciated. I am not really looking for suggestions for other cards, but if you really think this deck needs a certain card that I am unaware of, please do mention it.

Once my offense is down to a decent size, then I will be able to add souls and dominants, and I'll see if this topic can get moved to type 1 deck advice, or I'll just start it in there as a new topic.

Thank you all for your generous help, I really appreciate it. Your brother in Christ, Andy :)

Couple things, 1) I like the offense, but maybe cut down on the heroes a bit. 2) WHOA! Wayyyyyyyyy to many evil characters imo. How many is that...21 ECs?!?! That's a lot! I would say have like 10 at the most, maybe 11. Also, try to stick with just philistines or just Canaanites. 3) what doms and ls were you planning on using? Over all, I like the concept, but you need to thin down your characters a bit.

Also consider that Caleb is a Joshua Hero. David(, the Shepherd) is a descent of Rahab and fits with your offense. He also makes Bravery of David CBN which is really good on Spy. I think Trumpet and Sword is a Joshua Enhancement too.

Thanks Gabe, I really like that David the Shepherd makes bravery cbn, I did not think of that before.

One of the coolest things about Rahab in my opinion is that she can use scarlet line, unlike her original women's counterpart, and that it becomes cbn when played on her. I did start to try and make a version of this deck concept not too long ago, which I subsequently abandoned when it wasn't really going anywhere, but when testing it out I made a successful rescue attempt with her using scarlet line.

And plus with consider the lilies, I can fetch and/or recur faith of rahab! Thanks for that one, KariusVega!

Ironisaac, I am thinking I am going to stick with a canaanite defense. I don't really know exactly why, but I would much prefer to play canaanites. So no more philistines, unless someone can come up with a compelling enough case for using philistines instead.

So I've reduced the list of cards for consideration, and I am using a strictly black Canaanite defense. I still have a considerable list of possible cards though, 56 before souls and dominants to be exact. If anyone has any ideas of which cards and combos they think should stay and which I should cut, I would appreciate your help, as I am struggling to sort out the grain from the chaff, so to speak.  Current list of cards has been updated in my second post on this thread. Thank you!

I'm so excited someone else is thinking Rahab/Canaanites! I'll show you what I'm working on and maybe you'll get some ideas from me as I'm getting them from you.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!
