I have never really played Purple before tonight, so this is what I learned

- King Lemuel is awesome when you have a royal female in play
- Purple Royalty can be super fast
- Even more awesome is using Unified Kingdom multiple times in a game bc of King Lemuel's ability

Now I have some questions- If I am being blocked by Emperor Nero, and I use Unified Kingdom to band in King David. Does Nero have to leave battle bc David can't be blocked by royalty?

He becomes ignored, but that does not mean he leaves battle.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

I'm not exactly clear on how "cannot be blocked" abilities work, but if they are the same as ignore, then wouldn't only David be ignoring Emperor Nero?

Also, I know the whole thing with immunity vs. ignore where if the hero has an ignore ability and the EC has an immune ability, whichever activates first determines who is winning. However, in a case where a lone hero uses UN to band in King David against Nero, and then Nero gets rid of all heroes except David, who is winning? David's ignore ability was active in a time between two periods in which Nero's ability was working (if that makes any sense at all), but I don't know whether Nero's ability was active the whole time but just wasn't working when David's ability began to work. So...who would win in this scenario? (Sorry if that was the most confusing thing you've ever heard. :P)

Yep. But anytime an EC is being ignored by a Hero in battle, it is a winning situation for the Hero. The EC can affect the non-ignoring character though, and said non-ignoring character cannot interrupt any action taken against him since initiative never transfers (as the attacker is always winning with David). What I'm not completely sure of is what happens if Nero is defeating the other character BTN, if he is discarded at the end of battle or not. I would think no, but honestly I have no idea. It's just one of those situations I hope never comes up.

You can ignore immunity to result in a stalemate, since part of ignore is immunity.
You cannot become immune to an ignoring character, as you already are immune because of the ignore. It's just that it's a lame kind of immunity wherein the Hero is still winning (but not hurting) you.

Therefore, in your situation, King David is winning by ignore. If it was a different scenario where you attacked with just King David, and I played an ITB and band card to bring in Nero, then it would be a stalemate, since the ignore reactivates after the immunity is in effect.
