What are some good cards for a T2 hand control deck, or is it even worth pursuing?

I don't know that there is anyone in the game better than Clift at T2 hand control.

Here is a link to one of his hand control decks. Hopefully he can post here to advise of any updates or additional advise he may have.

Job/Angels are awesome for Hand Control. A well-timed Job's Faith can set back an opponent one or even two blocks sometimes, and aside from Siege Army, there really is no way to shut Job down completely (unfortunately Protection of Jerusalem can't protect D&A). I am Holy is nice as well, as you can usually afford to toss an extra copy of D&A, Job, or some enhancements that you don't need (you can also toss your angels, but just make sure you don't use Chamber then). One of the defenses I like to use with Job is Kings of Judah and/or Kings of Israel, because there are really only two way Job will get initiative in a typical T2 game: One is a side battle (with King Rehoboam) the other is to decrease his strength (with GoS). King Jehioiakin (PG 1/1) is nice, since he is a King of Judah that can play DoU (to shuffle Samarias if you combine the two--without shuffling, KoI is pretty weak in T2 since ) and if you are looking for more hand control cards, he can play Words of Discouragement. If you go with primarily Kings of Israel (maybe just splash in Rehoboam), you can add in Menahem for use with Fearfulness or other gray hand control cards.

The biggest issue of course with hand control is that you often have to give up battle winners to include hand control cards, so you need to maximize the effectiveness of the hand control. One of the more complicated combos I've come up with in such a deck goes as follows:

Block with Rehoboam (with GoJ out to keep him from being negated).
Choose Job to fight Michael (the only current angel that can pass initiative back to a Job+Job's Faith)
Play Job's Faith x1,2,3,etc; assuming your opponent doesn't have anything to play with Michael.
Play Jubilee to recur Stillness (if you need it)
Play Stillness to withdraw.

If you do it right (and you can keep Rehoboam alive) you can keep your opponent from having any evil cards in hand ever. You can also add in a Book of Hozai or two for speed, just make sure you play them just before Stillness (otherwise Michael won't pass initiative back).
Press 1 for more options.
