thanks, something for me to consider....hmmm.  I might of been playing Outpost & Pride of Simon ineffectively.  I was tried that last tourney due to a couple hours of airsoft prior to tourney.

one combo i do when i go against disciples is make them band in and then block with simon the magician and play joseph in prison. CBN baby lol

JiP is a silver bullet against Disciples. All your Discards will avail you naught if he's got HT, JiP (especially on Simon) will end his best two Disciples.

I suggested David's Mighty Men as a card to punch through his defense. Asahel is your best friend against his deck, and he's even friendlier when you have a CBN battle-winner to force him to burn some cards with HT or even win you the battle if he doesn't have HT yet. Also, no Zeal? That's 1/2 the point of Phinehas. Holy Ground and Might of Faith can go for those two. Furthermore, Ezra's Journey isn't that great and should be replaced with either David's Triumph or Holy unto the Lord.

P.S. Using common abbreviations is standard operating procedure. It's not a courtesy to not use them. There's a list of the most common ones, but usually you'll pick it up pretty soon/easily if you pay attention. If I had used any unusual abbreviations that would be a different story (there are some people here who would abbreviate Ezra's Journey as EJ for example, and nobody would know what they were talking about).

Right now your only effective enhancement to use on Simon is Babel, and if you use that against a Purple offense, the AoC is going to come swiftly. Joseph in Prison really needs to be in there. Simon/JiP is also the best character/enhancement counter to The Garden Tomb band, which is another hugely popular offense.

I would start by taking out the cards I've marked and adding these:
Joseph in Prison
Joshua the High Priest
Zeal for the Lord
David's Mighty Men

I also noticed you have DoN, Cap Ark, Covenant with Moses and Ly. unto God--are artifacts really causing you that much of a problem?

Another thing to consider, if your opponent has Nazareth, you have two cards (Cap Ark and Mayhem) that are nearly useless. I say nearly because you do have Outpost which can use them as discards, but not if you've already drawn them.

If u use Outpost, then having Nazareth in your deck is a very bad idea; it protects ALL decks from search, so your Outpost would be pretty ineffective. Harvest Time would be useless too.

Freedom! is pretty much required in any offense w/ red, so I'm not sure why it's missing. You can get rid o' Balance for it. Where's Chariot o' Fire?

Hmmm, that's a good point.  I threw in Harvest time since last tourney all my opponents seem to never draw any lost souls.  I had Freedom in one of my earlier versions, but I ended up taking it out.  I still got it, maybe I could consider it again.  I could take out Balance, I haven't used it before; I 'just' threw it in there last night.  Don't really know how effective it'll be.  I had Chariots, but decided to take it out last night after much thought.  I have 9 heroes.  I really wanted to throw in Falling Away & Harvest Time, but I can change around.  thanks for the input.
