In everyone's opinion, which would make the strongest defense in a TGT deck?
Just Phillies? Just Pharisees? A mix of both?
I have approximately 12 card slots open for this (dominants and artifacts already included before the 12)
Thanks!

Sads aren't that strong imo. Pharisees are better. Phillys are not as good this year because of all the new red things, but Chronic Apathy's defense in your other topic could be decently effective.

ooops, I meant pharisees not sadducees. Fixing that now!
-
Don't mix the two, especially in a 12 card defense. Phars and Phillies are kinda second-rate right now.
-
Ok, I was thinking of mixing them because I wanted Saph to band with Goliath? Do you recommend adding Saph in with philies?
-
Goliath negates all band abilities. Saph really doesn't help.

Oh! I am using a non-promo Goliath (haven't gotten one of those fancy ones yet) so I didn't realize

All that band will do is pass inish to your opponent to play a CBN/CBI winner.

What is "inish" and "CBN/CBI"?
-
Inish = initiative, or whoever plays the first enhancement. CBN/CBI Cannot Be Negated, Cannot be Interrupted.

This is a great resource for those sorts of questions. (Don't worry, it took me forever to learn all the jargon here)

Gotcha! Ok, thank you so much. It's taking a while for me too, haha.
