So, because Syrians are getting a boost, and red got a couple good card in this set, do you think this could be a viable deck in the future, with naaman and the roman jailer bridging the gap? I'm envisioning david's mighty men with spiritual warriors/centurions for offense, and Syrians and romans for defense. any thoughts?

I think that Syrians yes will be viable but the problem of pure red for a long time has not been power but speed. And neither Syrians nor red got a speed boost. I think it would be hard to make a red that is purely red and Syrian but if you splash a little yellow I think it'd make an awesome deck

David and Joshua both speed up red by searching out certain Heroes. But I tend to agree, the new "red" might actually be red/gold.

When you say yellow, is that good or evil yellow?

The addition of David the Shepherd will help get Ishmaiah out fast, and that's all the speed Red truly needs--obviously A Soldier's Prayer helps on the enhancement side. I've been running a Red/Syrian deck for 2 years and it's done quite well, I can post the deck list later today when I'm home from work.  8)

Namaan and his chariots makes a great fit in this red deck and may even give you a red hero and then fall him away back to a villian lol.

my typical red offense is normally red/gold, red/royalty, or a combination of the two revolving around Samuel. I tend to pair them with a evil kings defense, due to lack of speed in Syrians.
