This deck would not be to win.  It would be to just see how many powerful cards I could discard from an opponent's deck by the end of the game.  Can you help me list all the cards that would force opponents' to discard cards?

First of all, should it have a couple sites?  If it did there are some lost souls that discard cards (at least two that I know of).

Heroes - Gabriel, Angel of the Harvest, Amasai the Raider (+ Warrior's Spear)  Any others?  Some gold heroes would make us both discard, but I'm not sure I like that idea.  Maybe Simeon and Sarah, or something like that?
Any Artifacts or Covenants that do this?
Curses - Given over to Egypt.  Rain becomes Dust.  Any others?
Evil Characters - A bunch of Egyptians that I know of.  Maybe some demons too?  I think some grey blockers discard cards from hand?
Evil enhancements - Confusion (would need someone pale green).  Egyptian Spear (Is that the name of the gold weapon that discards?)  There is a gold place in territory enhancement.  Abomination of Desolation (which I'd need a Greek for)?

Thanks for any ideas you can offer.  I think it would be a fun deck to spring on my friends sometime as a surprise :)

I use deck discard and it can be quite effective. If you're going for a hand/deck discard hybrid that is going to be a bit harder.

Add green prophets+ ht to d/c evil enh from deck
Add sword to weapons
Add spreading mildew to enh in case they play JT.
Not quite a ghost...but not quite not.

If you can manage it, the combo of activating Rain Becomes Dust, choosing Damsel/and or Sabbath Breaker to block your RA, and having Brass Serpent in your hand forces them to discard/reveal 8 cards/Lost Souls. I have a deck with that combo, and I've only pulled it off once, but it helped me win the game.

The gold enhancement you were looking for is Pagan Sacrifices. Also, since the best way to use Abom is with High Places, then you could use both PS and Seemingly Insignificant (which is a "place" enhancement).

King Menahem and King Ben-Hadad I can both help get rid of cards in hand, and Menahem can be especially nasty since the card is at random. Also, Emperor Galba (I believe) + Namaan's Chariot and Horses + Heavy Taxes forces your opponent to discard three cards from hand, and if Rome is out (which it should be since Galba searches for it) then you will win 99.9% of battles with that combo.

The Thief is a demon that can discard from hand or Storehouse.

I am Holy forces your opponent to discard from hand if you have a good card that you can recur (Chamber of Angels and Ethiopian Treasurer plus Philosophy are two common methods I have seen).

Also, I would definitely include a couple sites (access sites work fine as well) to put the hand and deck discarder souls in. Then the site remove LS can take the out, and you can put them back in for double the fun.
Press 1 for more options.
