If you add the Cloud of Witnesses Fortress then they become even stronger as you never have to worry about running out of offense.
Question, how could I incorporate a reserve into the offense or defense in a deck like this, without using just the orange brigade...?

Read the list of cards and see if any of them fit in the deck. Other than that there are three cards (Covenant with Prayer, The Deceiver, and the "Gain" Lost Soul) that can be thrown into basically any deck, although I would highly advise against using the "Gain" soul unless you have a very specific reason for putting it in the deck.
