How would a deck based on Herods and Pharisees do. The one thing I could think of would be Hard-Hearted Religious Leaders are there any others? you could also splash in an Emperor or two.

I don't think a character that can band to a character of a different brigade that can band to characters of a different brigade is a good basis for a defense. Herods Agrippa II banding to Sadducees CBN might be something to consider, but I can't see a Pharisee/Herod defense being very effective.
