FBTN Deck

Hey, folks:

I would like to construct a FBTN deck that is worthy of taking to Nationals, but being that I only have one Nationals under my belt (as I'm from California), I'm not even really sure if this is a viable strategy. It seems like it would be to me. So I'd like, first of all, to hear feedback on whether or not this deck should be considered, and if so which brigades and cards you feel would be best in a deck like this.

Personally, I'm thinking of playing gold with Moses and Shamhuth as my MVP's, but I'm open to change if there are good reasons for it.

FBTN was THE dominant strategy for a long time. However, with the amount of can't be prevented and can't be negated cards today it is more difficult to do.

I think a FBTN offense should be multi-colored. It is almost as easy to do a FBN-Banding offense, you just have to decide if you want more characters or enhancements.

FBN
The Strong Angel (warriors)
Captain of the Host (warriors)
Ira (warriors)
Moses
Benaniah (warriors)
Possibly Shamhuth, Centurion at Capernaum, or John
+ Lots of 3/4 Multi-Color enhancements

FBN-Banding
The Strong Angel (kings)
Captain of the Host (kings)
Ira (kings)
Benaniah (kings)
Possibly Adino (kings)
Helez (kings)
Asahel (TexP)
Heldai
Maharai (kings)
Israelite Archer

Depends on how you want to get your numbers up.

The only T1 deck worth using for tournaments is Speed, but Fight by Numbers can still be fun.

I recommend Gold/Silver, because you have Moses, Shamhuth, The Strong Angel, and Captain of the Host. Two are pure FbN heroes, and the other two work best when you band them in. Simeon can band to Captain of the Host, and Israelite Archer can band to WC FbN heroes, plus there are a lot of banding enhancements like Three Angels and Children. Godspeed is a 5/0 Silver/Gold enhancement, which also helps numbers.

Also, didn't I help your friend build a deck at Nationals? If so, I lost both of your contact info.

Straight up speed won't work as well now with the hand limit but slight speed(like the set-asides + 1 or 2 drawing card cards) will probably become popular and unless all the new counters to TGT are used then TGT will once again be seen in top decks, but it is less likely now.
